This was an interesting story. The characters were developed, Angela more so than Niko. The plot was ok. The villain was decent. The story concept had appeal, but I think this novella just left me with an"it was ok" kind of feeling. I'm going to read book one next so I hope it gets better when it is...

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This story may have been a bit rushed considering it's a novella but it has all the elements of a good book. I am a fan of the Bayou Heat series and now I'm hooked on the Sentinels series.
