These big-city, powerful, experienced lifters have decided, at Cynthia's urging, to enter a power lifting contest. They are the only women in this male-dominated meet. This is a small town gym and the male competitors are not world-class, but they are proud men who workout and take pride in their strength. In some cases the ladies win and in some cases they don't. We are proud to announce that none of the ladies finished last or even close to last place! With the lifts being Bench, Squat, Deadlift and Leg Press, the women excelled at the squat and Leg Press.
