Author and freelance international journalist Owen Pye was born in Cornwall, England, and holds UK and US citizenship. A UWIC honours degree graduate, he has travelled extensively and holds a Masters in International Journalism from UCF. He has worked as an entertainment reporter for New York Magazine in Manhattan, international news reporter for The Associated Press out of its Sydney bureau, and local reporter for the West Briton newspaper in the UK.Owen is a freelance motoring writer and also regularly contributes for Japan Airlines' Skyward Magazine, ThreeSixty Bodyboard Magazine and Carve Surfing Magazine. Articles he has written for the AP have appeared for such publications as The New York Times, The Guardian, The LA Times and The Washington Post. He is very happy to have a career that combines three of his passions - writing, photography and travel.
