Princesses just want to have fun. This spring, Mia's determined to have a good time, despite the fact that the student government over which she presides is suddenly broke. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it) Grandmère has an elaborate scheme to simultaneously raise money, catapult Mia to theatrical fame, and link her romantically with an eligible teen bachelor, not her boyfriend. It's no wonder that Michael, the love of her life, seems to think she's a psycho, or worse: not much fun. Arghhh!Because, yes, I am enjoying this, maybe because I am slowly starting to just not see some stuff in the ...
It’s time for another installment of my Princess Diaries binge read. Mia’s finally not a freshman anymore (yay?) and her relationship with Michael is really developing (yay?). Let’s look at book 6, 6 1/2, 7, and 7 1/2. Where the Term Baby Licker is Invented (Princess in Training): Blah. ...
As I’ve been hinting through my reread of the series, I am not a fan of book seven. While the last three books have been filler, it’s most apparent in this. The only purpose it serves is to set up a love triangle between Michael and JP (aka “The Corn-in-the-Chili boy”) for the next three books. Ther...
This is where I stop reading the princess series. The first three volumes had been fun, really, but lately Mia has started going on my nerves. Maybe I am too old, but her behaviour towards Michael annoys me increasingly. Miss Cabot's ideas for her character seem to wear thin as well.
