Pat loves writing, nature, dogs, photography & travel. She lives in south Texas and enjoys visiting schools, libraries, writing groups and book clubs.Her newest title, Consequence, takes readers into the world of human smuggling and explores the consequences of greed.Her nonfiction books focus on telling people's stories. Her latest title, Emergence: The John Bax Story, recounts the life of internationally known nature cinematographer, John Bax. Other biographies include The Sharon Rogers Band: Laughed Together, Cried Together, Crashed & Almost Died Together, and They Came Home: Korean War POWs Tell Their Stories. She is the co-author of Sunchon Tunnel Massacre Survivors and Role Call: Women's Voices.Pat's bichon buddy, Luke the Detective Dog, researched history in Famous Dogs: Changing History One Dog (& Cat) at a Time. He interviews his fellow canines in his Dogs Speak Out series and helps solve crimes wherever her imagination takes them. Her mystery series features Hap Lynch and is set in different locations: Murder Takes a Ride in Branson, MO, and Murder is for the Birds in the South Padre Island area. Her new cozy mystery, Murder Takes No Prisoners, takes place in Jefferson City, Missouri. She is currently working on a co-written mystery that once again takes place in South Padre Island.Pat has lived in Colorado Springs, CO, Kansas City, MO, and Branson, MO, before moving to the South Padre Island area.
