I liked this one more than the others in the series. It gave a bit of an explanation as to how the plague started, but far from a full explanation. I'd certainly love to know more.
So The Peeling series comes to an end with this 4th book which is a prequel, all about how The Peeling started. I really enjoyed reading it, and it tied up a couple of loose ends. My only criticism is that it didn't tie them all up!
