3.5 Great re-read of a book I remembered reading and loving as a kid. Retellings are one of my favorite genres and this one doesn't disappoint. :)

2.5 starsImaginative. I liked how she interwove various fairytales - Rapunzel, diamonds and toads, swans, etc.I was however left distinctly unmoved by the style and tone of the narrator.
