This is an outstanding book for kids on cave painters/ice age peoples. The title rings several bells but it's not the sort of thing I'd have read at any age. Both children are annoying but the girl suffers from a stupidity so profound that I'm sorry she wasn't eaten by the lobster pirates. Attractive illustrations.
