Patricia McCallum was born in Toronto, Canada, and attended the University of Western Ontario. After graduation she went to Europe to visit her sister and never came back. After twenty-five years of wandering the earth; one time on a bicycle, another as a bald Tibetan Buddhist nun, she decided to wander back home to see what she'd been missing out on. After having spent the last ten years based in the Himalayas in India, she is really appreciating the small luxuries of living in Toronto, like functioning internet and flush toilets. Patricia spends most days sitting cross legged on her bed with her laptop, making things up, and drinking lots of coffee. When she's not writing about her snarky darling chasing bad guys and extricating herself from sticky yet humorous situations, she updates the IBC web site, works on her own site about Tibetan life and teaches chair yoga to enthusiastic little old ladies.Being an aquarian with a creative streak, she is an eccentric who has never been satisfied with the mundane and she badly wants to save the world. Patricia is married to a kind and charismatic Tibetan man whom she teases relentlessly. She also enjoys hot yoga, diving in Thailand and noisy momo parties.
