Patrick Chiles is a graduate of The Citadel and a Marine Corps veteran. He has written for a number of aerospace magazines, including Smithsonian's Air & Space. PERIGEE is his first novel.He is licensed as a private pilot and airline dispatcher, and has had a twenty-year career in flight planning, engineering, and safety management. A proud native of South Carolina, he currently resides in Ohio as an expatriate southerner with his wife and children. He requires regular doses of BBQ and coffee, preferably not at the same time.
