As always, Patrick McManus made me smile. This is his version of a mystery: set in the wilds of Idaho, lovable/laughable characters, and a twisted sense of humor. This is a very easy read and perfect for a cold winter night.

Not my favorite of McManus' works. This seems to have a lot of rehashed stories told from a little different angle in it. His writing style seems a little tired as well. The early books are great though.

Patrick McManus is the king of outdoor humor. His tales with crazy Eddie Muldoon and Retch Sweeney May not be sophisticated enough for you high-brow types but for us good ol' country boys they are always good for a laugh.
