Paula Caligiuri, Ph.D. is a work psychologist dedicated to helping companies, business teams, and executives become effective in today's complex global environment. Through her consulting firm, TASCA Global (www.TASCAglobal.com), Paula works extensively with leading organizations on the selection and development of culturally agile professionals. Her clients include the US Army, the Peace Corps, J&J, Cigna, and 3M. Paula has been a frequent expert guest on CNN and CNN International. Paula is a D’Amore-McKim School of Business Distinguished Professor of International Business at Northeastern University where she researches and teaches in the area cultural agility and global leadership development. Paula directs the newly-launched CALL Program at Northeastern University, a corporate-sponsored international volunteerism program in partnership with the National Peace Corps Association (www.CALLvolunteers.com). Prior to joining Northeastern University in 2013, Paula was a Professor in the Human Resource Management Department at Rutgers University, where she was the Director of the Center for Human Resource Strategy from 2001 until 2010 and co-directed the European Master in Human Resource Leadership from 2003 until 2006. Named as one of the most prolific authors in international business, Paula has authored or co-authored several award-winning articles and books – including Managing the Global Workforce (2010) and Cultural Agility: Building a Pipeline of Successful Global Professionals (2012). Paula’s academic publications include numerous articles in the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of World Business, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and International Journal of Intercultural Relations. Paula serves as the HR Area Editor for the Journal of International Business Studies, the top-ranked journals in international business. Paula holds a Ph.D. from Penn State University in industrial and organizational psychology.
