Paula Munier has been a dog person her whole life. Raised by a father with a penchant for Weimaraners, Vizslas, and Great Danes, she got her first dog of her own on her tenth birthday--a black miniature poodle named Rogue. Since then she has shared her life with numerous dogs, cats, fish, and a bearded lizard, all of whom together caused far less trouble than just one small beagle named Freddie.A veteran writer, editor, and publishing executive, Paula is the author or co-author of several books, including Hot Flash Haiku, Yes We Can!: 365 Ways to Make America a Better Place (January 2009), 101 Things You--and John McCain--Didn't Know about Sarah Palin (October 2008), On Being Blonde, and the young adult romantic suspense novel Emerald's Desire. She has hundreds of articles, essays, and columns to her credit; her short stories have appeared in such anthologies as My Dad Is My Hero, A Cup of Comfort for Writers, Raging Gracefully, Letters to My Teacher, HerStory, Angel Over My Shoulder, Tour of Duty, and Horse Crazy.Paula is the creator of many individual titles and book series, including the bestselling inspirational series A Cup of Comfort, which has more than 2 million copies in print. She also conducts CofC webinars, in addition to creativity and writing workshops, and is a popular speaker at writers' conferences. As the President of the New England chapter of Mystery Writers of America and member of the MWA national board, Paula is an active participant in her local writer's community as well as the larger world of book publishing. She is co-chair of the New England Crime Bake Committee, which runs an annual writer's conference devoted to the craft of writing.The mother of three, Paula lives with her family--Freddie included--in a little lakeside cottage outside of Boston, where she's at work on a modern retelling of Red Riding Hood called Ruby Red.
