I really don't have much to say except this one was so ridiculously good! I loved everything about the case that Lynley and Havers are called into look at. First, because it actually showed that Lynley had flaws. Two, because it showed Lynley that he was blind to something that was in his face for a...

Probably my favorite IL books by EG. This one was fascinating and fast paced. I really liked the characters, as well. I would say this is the book that really got me hooked into the Inspector Lynley series.

The second Havers/Lynley mystery has a swirl of theater people that are a little hard to keep track of. All the usual class clashings and emotional melodrama that I've liked so far about this series... I don't typically read mysteries, but somehow this one is appealing.
