This book was strange but good. The biology major part of me was intrigued by the idea that there could be a biological explanation for vampirism and was fascinated by all of the detailed descriptions of parasites (many of which I learned about in zoology class).
This is an interesting take on the vampire legend. In this book, they call "vampires" peeps. They are not supernatural beings, but rather people infected with a parasite that causes cannibalism.
