Description:His pride made him believe the worst! Five years ago, Lisa Hayward had fled her exotic island home of St. Martin's, leaving her just begun marriage in ruins. Back in London, she concentrated on raising her son, Robbie--Rorke's son The child was all that remained of that bitter, beautiful...
Meh.. Started of strong, but leaned more towards the over dramatic nearing the end of the book. Felt very slow paced to begin, and then rushed at the end.
This One Creepy Street book was more appealing that the other one. The bright white writing was much easier to see than the font that was used one One Creepy Street: The Spider on the Web. The rhymes flowed easily and the story was well-written for the most part. The illustrations, as usual, were w...
I completely admire what this book is trying to do. As our children get on the internet at earlier ages all the time, we have to realize that we can't always be looking over their shoulder. They need to have some basic grounding in 'truths' about the Internet, which, unfortunately, includes the fact...
I liked this book. I did feel the hero held onto his bitterness a little to long and wish the heroine was a little stronger. But overall I really liked it. The author Penny Jordan is a great author and her books are good. I would recommend this book!
This is a good example of trying to reuse an old romance plot that doesn't age well. The young woman traumatized by an early brush with sex is a Penny Jordan standard, and it made some sense in more restrictive times. But this was published in 1992; moreover, the heroine's parents are present, and a...
(I've been doing all these serious reviews lately... kind of nice to just have a little fun with one again!) This turned out to be the last in a four-part series, but I decided it probably wouldn't matter much, and it didn't. Dee is feeling wistful, with all her friends happily married and popping...
Silver was published two decades before Fifty Shades of Grey yet it has the same composition. Comprehensive bouts of sexual exploration interlinked using a thin veneer of story to weave the erotic bits together. Maybe sex does sell but it involves a bit more to keep the pages turning
