Growing up in the enchanted Théâtre Illuminata, Bertie learned everything about every play ever written. She knew the Players and their parts—but she didn’t know that she had a role to play, too. Now that she’s discovered her own magic, she is the Mistress of Revels, the Teller of Tales. And she’s ready to write her own story, outside the protective walls of Théâtre. But which way will her story go? Toward Nate, who’s being held captive by the Sea Goddess, and loves Bertie dearly? Or should she write Ariel into her narrative? He’s by her side every day, and she’s finding his charms so very hard to resist. . . .

I really loved this book! It brings together my love for books, fantasy and plays in a thrilling combination. Bertie is such a fun character to follow along with her fairy sidekicks. The whole series keeps you entranced and hanging on for more. I recommened this series especially to play lovers.
I find the entire "Nate-Bertie-Ariel" love triangle to be over done, but other than that it's a good read! However, there are some concerns of mine that remain unanswered. Bleh :/
These stories are really beautiful so I can't really explain why or how I can't get into them! Going to take a break from them before reading the last one.
