More Jack Reacher then and I enjoyed this one more than the last (not as much as the early ones) but it was very good. They always are. No messing around here, Jack Reacher is Jack Reacher and that is kind of comforting.Don't expect any surprises there are not any. The thing I mostly enjoy about the...

Barely 3 stars - because Reacher Alright, I'm not sure what happened. I love Jack Reacher, I've read all the books. Some were better, some were weaker, but all in all I love the stories. But this one was different. As in, not really Jack Reacher. Although I was able to catch glimpses of "my" Reacher...

Jack Reacher is being recruited to go after a sniper that hated him enough to kill him. So the story go to Paris, and London and with an agent. A bit different from the usual lone self kind of story. Half way through and he still hadn't get a sight of the man he is after. But he already got invo...

Forget the average movie -starring Tom Cruise - I have.I like the Jack Reacher novels for several reasons. Sure they are formulaic, sure most of the set ups are two steps beyond plausible but above all else I just like the character. Jack Reacher may be 6.5ft loner, and a bit of a brawler but he n...

I've been a Lee Child/Jack Reacher fan for years. Because I found this very different from his previous Jack Reacher Novels...

If I ever run out of competent crime thriller authors I'm sure I'll give this series another go. I'm not sure why I expected to possibly like this, it's not usually something on my radar. Not terribly written but not captivating enough, either.

No matter what Jack Reacher series will always have my blind spot and I will always be partial to it. But how far can it go? My entire reading life practically grew up on this series. Unlike all other alpha male stereotypes prevalent in our book world, I find Reacher more apt for the title. Reacher ...

Someone took a pot-shot at the French president -- and by pot-shot, I mean "almost impossible" sniper shot -- it didn't work, didn't even break the "invisible armor" glass in front of him. But still, bad form, and people are expected to do something about that. Various and sundry intelligence agen...

Reacher is backā€¦and this time it's personal! (said in my best movie trailer guy voice). It's also the name of the book, Personal, Lee Child's nineteenth and newest Jack Reacher thriller. In this one, faces from Reacher's past come back to haunt him. One is a deadly sniper he busted when he was a mi...

This book was so slow to start that I actually cleaned my cat litter boxes rather than read it. I finally abandoned it around page 100 after reading other reviews that it got better after 80 pages. I didn't think it did and there are a lot of books in my to read pile that hopefully will be better.
