Pete Ferrari is a US Army veteran, having served with 1st Infantry Division during Desert Storm. After his honorable discharge, he worked as an Electronic Technician for 14 years. In 2003 he was diagnosted with Young-Onset Parkinson's Disease at the age of 38. He wrote his first book "The Challenge of a Lifetime backpacking: backpacking with Parkinson's" based on his true experiences, first published paperback in Apr, 2010. He subsequently rewrote the first half of the book and released it under the title of: "100,000 Footstep on the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail" in 2011.His 2nd paperback book is called book "Caught up in the Storm: The 101st Military Intelligence Battalion in Desert Storm." Published in January of 2012, and is about his time in Iraq with the US Army. His third book "The School of Hard Knocks: US Army basic Training", is about US Army Basic Training at Fort Dix, NJ. He also served as sound Engineer for the music CD "Stone Walls; Songs of the British Isles".
