Peter Bently is the award-winning author of many books for younger children, including KING JACK AND THE DRAGON (an American Library Association Notable Book of the Year), THE SHARK IN THE DARK, UNDERPANTS WONDERPANTS and CATS AHOY! (winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize). Among his most recent titles are A RECIPE FOR BEDTIME and THE PRINCE AND THE PORKER. He lives with his family in South Devon, England, just twenty miles from the spot that the Pilgrim Fathers sailed from.
