Born and educated in London, Peter Foreman taught English to overseas students, mainly in Italy, where he has travelled extensively. CIDEB, an Italian publisher of educational books based in Rapallo, brought out several collections of his short stories for students, as well as stories of true crime and adventure, all of which sold well. Oxford University Press also published a ghost story 'The Mystery of Allegra', based on the fate of Byron's daughter. These books include the main areas of interest in his work: the bizarre and humorous, the supernatural, fantasy, crime, and semi-autobiographical tales. His collection of strange stories, entitled 'Tarantella', and a novel - 'Pisuktuk the Wanderer'- are presently available as Kindle e-books and paperbacks. His latest novel is entitled 'Aurelie', and it is a romance with a supernatural element set on the island of Alderney during the Nazi Occupation. It's available now on Kindle and in paperback.
