Peter Sheehan is an illustrator and writer based in Sydney, Australia. He has over 25 books to his name. He has contributed to one of the oldest children's literary magazines in the world, The School Magazine, since 1982. He has been awarded an ACA Stanley Award for best general illustrator, an Honour Book prize from the CBCA for The Island (written by John Heffernan) and has been nominated twice for a Walkley Award. In 2010 he self published two books on Lulu entitled Daisy the Moo Cow and Willy Wagtail Grows Up. In 2009 Peter storyboarded the feature film Beneath Hill 60. As a journalist his illustrations are published regularly in magazines and he currently serves on the board of the Australian Production Design Guild.
