This anthology was created to raise money for Equality Orlando and the organization's support of victims' families and the survivors of the Pulse nightclub mass shooting in June 2016. I think that because the anthology was the comic book industry's way of helping and coping with the incident, I was ...

A good attempt that just doesn't quite get it done. This is one of DC's second tier books for me. Still it's worth checking out

The sentiment behind this was lovely. Love is Love is an anthology comic book of short pieces honoring the memories of those killed at the Pulse shooting with all proceeds donated to the survivors. And it has some beautiful works in there celebrating love, community, and their memories. But I felt...

What, oh what, did I just read? You'd think that after reading Volume 1 I'd have been absolutely prepared for what happens in Volume 2. Nope. Not at all. Not in the least. If anything, my emotions were already frayed enough that this read through was that much more brutal. I mentioned that everythin...

I could say I read 'Bloody Hell in America' before 'Say You Want a Revolution' out of some tribute to chaos and refusal to submit to chronological tyranny, but in truth it was on top of the stack. Here's the rough idea - the Invisibles are a group of people fighting against a sinister outside force ...

Not having read some of this for a while and finding it on sale in The Works, I gave it a try. Interesting but sometimes unclear storyline made it engaging and the artwork was good. The plot includes Sentinels, the Brood, a new villain called Kaga. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I told you that Loki would be back! Yes, he's back and, from what I can tell, just as mischievous as ever. The Asgardians are hot on Angela and Sera's trail, and I'm just eating this up like candy. Have I mentioned how beautiful Angela's armor is? Well, guess what. It gets even more glorious. Seriou...

Let it be known, I'm in love with this series! Yup. It's official. If Angela wasn't enough to steal my heart, Sera has clinched the deal. These two are a match made in Heven, and I am hooked beyond belief. I think my favorite part of this particular issue was two-fold. First off, Loki makes a came...
