I have had the pleasure of working for Rough Guides for well over twenty years - and they have been a delight to work for. My travelling started with a broken heart: I was jilted, so I joined the Danish merchant navy and although I did not sail the seven seas (we were confined to the Baltic) this did give me a taste for adventure. I ended up returning to my home town to live - and so far it has been happy ever after.
