So-so collection of stories all with a common theme of Hydra trying to find an immortality serum and create new gods. Many co-stars appear as the story skips through time from the early days of Captain America to the present. Not too impressed by some of the writing nor the artwork in some of the s...
I requested this graphic novel because of the awesome cover. Then came in all the one star reviews from my friends and I started to get afraid of starting it. Four detectives, four time periods, four completely different styles, one body. It's always a tricky thing to pull off multiple timelines...
Sadly, there wasn't anything to keep me going with this graphic novel. Bodies has an awesome premise, but the story is really confusing and not that enjoyable. Plus, the art wasn't as striking as I wanted it to be. Pity, since I loved the cover. Ah well, that's life.
DNF! Didn't like the art, didn't like the story. Well, I liked the part from 2014, but the rest was frankly just boring and the art made my head hurt! Damn you nice cover! I received this copy from the publisher through Edelweiss in return for an honest review!

If you're not familiar it might be a hair overwhelming, but even if that's the case, I think this story is worth pushing ...
I was just waiting for a Wayne cameo... If you like Gotham, go for All Star Western..
I thought they really had something with the pairing of Amadeus Arkham and Jonah Hex at first, but this collection as a whole suffers from a deliberate attempt to make it more of a "serial" than a cohesive work.It held true to it's roots in the westerns and noir books it was trying to honor, but ult...
DNF... It was okay at first, but just continued on without a whole lot of a clear story line.. Got bored.
Ah, Elseworlds. Where Batman could be a vampire, Superman could be Russian, and Wonder Woman could be a Gibson Girl. Amazonia is set in an even more misogynistic version of Victorian England, ruled by King Jack. You see, Victoria and her entire family died in a mysterious fire, and her distant Ameri...
