With unbridled fury the devastating automobile accident left Phyllis Vavold seriously injured and alone. Her husband had not survived their head-on collision with two teenagers joyriding in a stolen car at 130 miles per hour. Since her accident and miraculous recovery, she has become an inspirational speaker and shares at women's luncheons women's retreats, and churches across the northwest.Phyllis was the featured guest on the radio program, "Words to Live By." It was broadcast into over 325 stations worldwide. Phyllis has three grown children and ten grandchildren who bring a ray of sunshine to this new phase of life. She spent the years prior to the accident raising her family, being a homemaker and professional porcelain doll maker and seamstress. Phyllis also served as the district mission's secretary sixteen years.Soon to be published: A GRIEF RECOVERY BIBLE STUDY - COVENANT OF GRACE. A Bible Study Workbook designed to enhance the truths found in GRACE FOR THE RAGING STORM. Officially authorized by God, the Covenant of Grace has already been signed by the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Page after page the Holy Scriptures bear the signature of God Himself!Grief carries with it uncertainty, disorientation, and a foreboding shadow of death. However, God's Word is filled with promise and hope. We are encouraged to trust in our Creator God. He will be the Rock we take refuge in. He will be our shelter in the time of a storm. He will be our Hiding Place. The COVENANT OF GRACE BIBLE STUDY dramatically illustrates God's grace. God's covenant initiates a deeper relationship with Him. Even though trouble will always find us, we have God's covenant promise that He will never leave us or forsake us. When we partner with God the blessings far outweigh the commitment.
