This isn't exactly a review. I just wanted to mention a couple things that really pleased me about this book. Roark finding out a bit more about his past, and his reaction to it, and then Eve and Summerset's reaction to his reaction. The always cool, unflappable Roark was shaken to his very core ...
Nadine Furst receives a portfolio of a young woman's photos and informs Lieutenant Eve Dallas who finds the subject of the photos stashed in a recycling unit. Someone followed the girl around, snapping candid photos, then snatched her off the street, pumped her full of opiates, stabbed her in the he...
Portrait in Death - J.D. Robb What can I say about PORTRAIT IN DEATH other than the fact that I loved it. It was good for so many reasons. Yes, the mystery/crime part of it was good and it was great to see Eve in her element but it's the other stories that are drawing me into this series. Roarke'...
Young people are being murdered then posed after death. Eve has to find the murderer. What I liked most though is that Eve has to figure out marriage and how to keep Roarke from shutting her out when he is dealing with what he considers his problem. I enjoyed watching Eve question herself, Roarke, a...

Another great installment. I just love this series. Hard to explain all the reasons why. The crew keeps growing and getting tighter and love that about this series. All the characters become like friends to me. This one I liked especially since we get some more or Roarke's past in and about Ireland....
o a degree this is one for the fans. The interaction between the characters is more important than the murder. There is a lot of information about some of the back history of the characters. A photographer is killing people.
I forgot to add one of my favorite quotes from the book:"What's that? Is that chocolate? Real chocolate?""What?" Panicked, Eve shoved the hand behind her back. "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm working here.""I can smell it." To prove it, Peabody sniffed the air like a wolf. "That's not c...
