"All those clues," said Andrew, "You could make a story out of them - even a book." "Too many names, too complicated," said Deborah, "who would read a book like that?" "You'd be surprised," said Tommy, "what people will read - and enjoy." I am coming to the end of Christie, and it is bittersweet...

Postern of Fate was Dame Agatha's last book. And knowing this, made reading the book rather sad. This book is very nice once you stop regarding it as a murder mystery. I'm happy to agree it's more muddled than mysterious, but the quality of writing is still very good. The believable and enjoyable atmosphere, dialogues and relationships - that's what is so sweet here.

In this book, Tommy & Tuppence have long since retired from spy-catch...

A couple of retired detectives buy a house in a quaint English town - but find a cryptic message in an old children's book that lea...
