The Power of Myth is one of my favorite books. Joseph Campbell was a true maverick, and he daringly explored the inner workings of the human psyche with a sense of fearlessness in this book.

Still a favorite to pull out and just read parts. It feel as if you gain so much from a small book a better grip on the stories that some of us call friends.

[Upon re-reading:] Sigh. I hope Joseph Campbell is in heaven, like, running around with unicorns and King Arthur and shamans or whatever, because he was THE MAN.
