I would have said the love triangle ruined the book for me, but that is not entirely true. The mystery was not gripping either.

When I was younger, I used to read a lot of murder mysteries with female protagonists. I read one book after the other. Sadly, I don't remember the authors or the titles but I do know where they used to reside on the library shelves. As it is, most of the books published in the late 1990s and early ...

A fast and fun read, and also one that kept me on the edge of my seat—the mystery part was well-done in my opinion, enough that I had my suspicions about a potential culprit, but without seeing it coming too easily.I have a soft spot for boarding schools. I don't know why. Perhaps because I've alway...

3.5 starsI love my mystery books -- my first love with reading is with this genre, where I consumed Enid Bylton's "Famous Five" and Agatha Christie's novels. Her parents promptly send her to a boarding school in Boston, in an effort to keep her out of trouble. Unfortunately, Anne has hardly settled in b...

I will be honest and say that I was shocked at how much I enjoyed Prep School Confidential. I went into this thinking it would be a light, fun read with a little bit of mystery thrown in, something similar to The Gallagher Girls series. Instead I got something more mature (as mature as a book about ...

Not a long review, but a short one just to say what I thought of the book. :)This book was really nice and good, though -1 star since it was kinda hard to get through it. It picked up pace around the middle part, but it is a shame it felt so slow.I like the characters, though I felt the plot was a b...

4.5 starsTake your preconceptions on Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars and check them at the door. Haters to the left. This book was an absolutely blast to read. I want to give this a solid 5, I seriously do. I have no complaints at all about this book, none. But I am still stupid, and my mind can...
