Your own business, that is. On 20 January 2017, Trump assumed office in a promise to "Make America Great Again". By 28 April 2017 he had told Reuters, "I thought being president would be easier". It’s hard trying to actually create jobs. It’s hard to rebuild the nation’s infrastructure. It’s hard to create a revenue-neutral tax plan. It’s hard to get Mexico to pay for your great wall. But it IS easy to build hotels. And guess what? When you are the leader of the free world, it seems everyone wants to be your friend. Trump may have been feeling slightly bad about potentially profiting from his presidency, but a quick tour around the world made him feel, frankly, quite good about himself! Maybe making America great can wait? When times get hard, it’s time to look after number one first.
