Even if I wanted to die for someone, it wouldn't be that easy. They just keep dying for me. Something is happening to Charlotte Emerson. Like the fires that are ravaging the hills of L.A., it consumes her from the inside out. Something to do with the tear in her enviably perfect nails. If you already had a nice home, a fancy car, and nice clothes, why would go back to that awkwardness? Yes, I know they did it in anot...
(review originally posted on my livejournal account: http://intoyourlungs.livejournal.com)I picked up this book because back in 2008 I read one of Block's novellas (I really don't consider them novels -- they're really short), Psyche in a Dress, and I ended up really liking it.
