The second collection of short stories actually consists of one long, and two short tales. The first and longest story pays homage to one of the oldest folk tales of Japan, “the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.” Usagi’s faithful sidekick Luna is saved by and ends up developing a crush on an astrophysicist whose dream of becoming an astronaut has been dashed by heart disease. His life is further complicated when he happens upon a mysterious crystal shard the same night he discovers a new comet. It turns out to be the vehicle of a malevolent power from the far outskirts of the galaxy that hopes to take over Earth. In another story, Rei’s background, and her unrequited feelings for her father’s executive secretary are revealed. The final tale is a total comedy that follows the children of Usagi and her fellow Sailor Guardians, proving that apples do not fall far from their trees! This new edition of Sailor Moon features:- An entirely new, incredibly accurate translation!- Japanese-style, right-to-left reading!- New cover art never before seen in the U.S.!- The original Japanese character names!- Detailed translation notes!

This is just a collection of stories set during the series around different characters. The villains are usually random demons or spirits loose in the world who encounter the scouts. A few of the storylines I believe were also adapted into anime episodes. My favorite of the group was probably eith...
The last of the Sailor Moon manga. *sniffles* I am really sad about it and I also had hoped for something better as the last volume.I don't like Luna, never did (found her obnoxious and highly annoying), so the first story was not something I liked, sadly it was also the biggest story (taking more t...
If you're looking for more of the beautiful, flowing art from the series, you're in luck. If you're hoping for much depth out of the stories, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. This book is just what it says on the tin. These are a series of short stories set in the Sailor Moon universe, each focu...
This was a wonderful book, it was full with stories about every character! Ok except Mamo (I so wish for a story about him). Really recommend this book to the sailor moon fans! Since the manga is now over, you can still read about your favourite sailor girl.
