Again, Vincent takes us straight into the story. Yes, she has the art sorted. I’ll admit that at one point, I thought the entire story would be back and forth narration about Faythe and crew alternately searching for Marc and trying to get young kaci to shift … but just when I thought disappointment...
There was so much in this book that made me want to throw it against a wall. When Ethan died, I lost it. Seriously. Tears were in my eyes. And immediately after she sleeps with Jace?!?!? What the hell? But overall, it was an emotional roller coaster that I could not put down. Very good.
