Really enjoyed this one. Very nicely plotted thriller/mystery mixed in with a strong gfy romance. The balance was just for me-- the mystery was maybe 1/4 of the story and just a nice palate cleanser and angst-producer for the main romance. Very fun read.

Really enjoyed the journey Jeremy went on in this story. Seemed very realistic to me. I do think he over-reacted at a certain point but what can ya do? Rafe was great but i don't know something seems lacking. Mystery was kind of a non-starter because it's pretty obvious what's going on from the get ...

I am picky about the whole gay x straight thing because... I don't know. Isn't it more just a "one has a closet to acknowledge" kind of thing? And I've lost count of how many times it's been treated as a "gay for you" situation. Come on, now. Really? Also, I guess it's because in my limited experienc...

All I can say is that Jeremy was real. His emotions were all over the place, but he faced them. He was scared but didn't shy away. I loved that about him. He was ready to face them and Rafe was ready to run. Sure, he kind of accepted his new life pretty fast, but I kind of wish that everybody w...

3.5 starsTypical, well executed GFY.Rafe is an idiot. For making the phone call, sure, but mostly for lying about it. What a moron, seriously. And also the going to Jeremy's right after the fight. Let the guy cool down and organize his thoughts, yeah? And the I-ll-be-here-every-day bit... Ughh. Anno...

Rarely have I rolled my eyes so often during one book. I don't know why anyone would love either one of these knobs, both of whom could pass emotionally as 13-year-old girls, but aside from being beautiful (which we are told several times) what is so lovable about them? And then there's the "mystery"...

2.5-3 ish. I didn't really find the relationship or mystery particularly strong, some odd syntax at times, but there were parts I liked. I told Lenore the other day that I'm figuring out GFY stories are really not my thing, so that could be also a huge part of why I wasn't a huge fan of this.

This book started out fine, but by the end it had too much unnecessary drama. You could see how the balance between the romance and the mystery parts of the story started tipping to romance the farther you got (and I'm not sure why cause the balance at the beginning was perfect imho), and I guess it...
