I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this! Ellie returns to her small town Kentucky home to open up her own practice (she's a family MD) and to watch over her dad who is an alcoholic with diabetes. Her dad is a drunk asshole and ignored her when she was growing up. Tyler is the town "bad b...
Don't judge a book by it's cover. Samanthe Beck hammered the point home in more than one way with Private Practice. Ms. Beck has proven she can write a scorching hot mystery read again and again. Ellie and Tyler prove that she can write steamy and emotive reads as well. Private Practice has hea...
I really liked this book. The only reason why I didn't give this book 5 stars was because I thought the heroine was naive. For being a 29 year old and a doctor, she was a bit obtuse at times. Other than that, this was a quick, fun, sexy, book.
This review was originally posted on One Curvy Blogger 4 STARSI picked up Private Practice not expecting much. The premise is so silly for an adult novel, and far too cliché for this genre. Love triangles are a theme in romance that I generally try to steer clear of, but this one had to be read. Mos...
Loved it!It was fast-paced, with great characters, swoony romance and often funny moments. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars because at one point I got really frustrated with Ellie and her "Chapter" talk and the story was predictable, the ending too sudden in my opinion.I can't wait to read the autho...

I started this book, like I read maybe half a page, back in March. And then my Kobo battery died, and by the time I got it charged, I'd added some other books, and forgot that I'd started this one. That was a giant mistake. I wish I'd read this two months ago, because I LOVED IT. Tyler's my new book ...
This was such a fun little read. Ellie is a doctor that has returned to her small hometown to take care of her alcoholic, diabetic father and open her own practice. Being there brings back an old crush she had from high school and she hatches a plan to try and land her dream guy. In the process she ...
Reading this romance I laughed out loud several times! It's a lighter read, never weighed down by angst. It still manages to be a very real story, never slapstick. Always charming and fun.
Growing up the heroine didn't have the best life, so she fixated on a guy who she felt had the perfect family and would give her a happy ending, so when she moves back into town and hears that, that guy is finally single, she thinks to herself, this is the perfect chance but there's a problem, she o...
