Romance Bingo Square - YA A quick read, entertaining but a bit shallow in terms of feelings. Lizzie attends Longbourne Academy as a scholarship student, making her an outcast at the school. She has just two friends, Charlotte (fellow scholarship student) and Jane (Lizzie's room mate). At the begin...

Not the best of its kind, but an easy read nonetheless. :)

Other reviews like this at The Book Babe Note: Due to copy an paste, formatting has been lost. What to say on this book....I'm pretty sure it's the only re-writing of Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' out there that doesn't involve a whole bunch of completely ridiculous outcomes and, well, you kno...

As I love Pride & Prejudice, it's not really shocking I enjoyed this re-telling. It was light, happy, and a quick read.

That was a super quick read. It had cute parts but overall it was more or less just an episode of a CW show built on P&P.

I'm a little on the fence on this one. I love Austen retellings but I tend to shy away from the ones that seem to follow in the exact same footsteps as the original. The names, for the most part, stay the same while some of the connections change (as far as who is family and who isn't in this versio...

Prom and Prejudice is a retelling of my favorite book ever - Pride and Prejudice. But in this modern day retelling, Lizzie attends boarding school and that's how everyone is connected. The characters are obviously modeled after the original characters, but they seem to have a uniqueness about them a...

So,this morning I was going through my will-finish-later shelf and stumbled across Prom and Prejudice. I thought let's give it one more chance. Maybe I'll like it this time. I didn't. First of all,I need to confess I was desperately waiting for this book to come out back in January. When I got it,I ...
