I think I'd call these cuddly BDSM. It was missing the intensity of most BDSM tales but it had a sweet romance of its own.

I generally liked the characters but there was such a clinical feel to the book, as Tackett worked with Micah on his issues, that they seemed to lack romance. And I was disconnected from Micah. Even though I don't like pain, I can usually connect enough with a submissive character that I can underst...

I did not connect with these characters at all. Also I don't think I like the way ADD was treated throughout this story. It had it's good moments. I didn't hate it but it was just flat to me I guess. There really didn't seem to be any real romance or feeling beyond lust between the two MCs.

In my humble opinion, Jo Peterson can write no wrong. Her characters and their stories always resonate with the realities of love. If you want an emotional m/m love story, you can't go wrong with any of her books.

I liked this one, but something was missing. It just didn't feel right to me. I had a hard time fully engaging with the characters. I really did like Micah's playful personality, but Tackett didn't work for me as a Dom. He felt too insecure and uncertain. Yes, I know that Dom's are people too an...

This was a really well written and thoroughly enjoyable journey into the lives of Micah and Tackett.Micah is so easily likable, a young man searching for something/someone to ground him. "Having people around me keeps me from going, 'Oh look, sparkly' and walking into traffic." and he finds that gro...

Wanted to love this even more, but I find BDSM books that address mental issues to be tricky and often times uncomfortable. I don't know if I agree with how Micah was purposely set up to fail in order to discipline him. Loved the rest of the story, which was caring and loving, but that incident Tack...

Can an old dog teach a young pup some new tricks?Micah "Pup" Slayde is a young, sexy submissive who suffers from ADD. Tackett Austin is a much older Dom who has never been in a steady relationship. Micah has wanted Tackett since the moment he first set eyes on him at the Guards of Folsom club. Micah...

I am not sure how to review this book. I have mixed feelings. It has smoking hot sex scenes, deals with a D/s relationship between and older and younger man. The older man is experiencing what seems like a midlife , not crisis, but reevaluation. Micah is a young man with what seems like ADHD issue...
