Raised in the rural foothills of the Los Angeles basin, Juliet Beckman Hubbell currently teaches Literature, Humanities and Composition at Arapahoe Community College in Colorado. Her work has appeared in Hektoen International: Journal of Medical Humanities, Midwest Quarterly, Workers Write, JAMA: Journal of American Medical Association, ACM: Another Chicago Magazine, and Progenitor. Her short story “Saarbrucken Witch” won the 2012 British Fantasy Society’s Short Story Contest. An avid traveler, she has visited over 28 countries and spent extended periods of time in France, Mexico and Argentina. She is currently working on an historical fiction novel set in New England.
