Along with Eat It| and Natural|, a very well-written example of the genre. This book adds a new (to me) and quite, ahem, creative response by the hero, along with the usual squirminess. Let's just say it's more mutual than most tentacle encounters.
Same thing. Good concept. Nicely written. Still, not quite my thing.The whole "absorbing into another entity" thing encroaches on squick territory for me.
