As much as I like most of Cabot's books, I was slow to pick up this series. My daughter had to read it first and then convince me. "Queen of Babble" didn't sound like something I'd like, as an individual book or as a series. The cover, for some reason, is associated with Shopaholic, and since shoppi...
Lizzie Nichols has a few problems, her graduation is dependent on writing an essay that she forgot about, she's gone to London to see her boyfriend who has turned out to be two-timing her and wants her to lie. So she takes off to be with her friends in France. One of Lizzie's other problems is tha...
2.5 StarsI started out really liking it, then about 1/3 in, it got annoying. They weren't kidding about the babble thing, the girl can not shut up! But that wasn't even the problem, I actually started getting used to it and found it funny again later on, My problem was she was always in denial, kept...
I was re-reading this book because I finally got my hands on the sequels. I still liked it even though the protagonist made some stupid decisions. Then again, not everyone makes the right decision anyway.
It's quite nice to have a break from reading ponderous tomes about politics, and read something you can actually relate to. Lizzie Nichols is, like you or me, a person with a big heart and a mouth as big. She has no filter, and goes through a ton of shit because of this; kind of like me, heh.

Queen of Babble is an appropriate title because everything is repeated at least 3 times. Did Meg Cabot have a page threshold that she had to hit? Lizzie Nichols is meant...
This was a cute, sweet book that read like a chick flick (which I've just noticed there are plans to actually make a movie out of it starring Kristen Bell). It was a really nice break from all the heavy, depressing books I've been reading. It's silly and predictable but I couldn't help but smile at ...
Lizzie Nichols is nice. Painfully so...Thankfully, (nearly at my breaking point) Cabot gives readers a reprieve and Lizzie blossoms into a spunky and vivacious girl ready to kick some ass. Or maybe just revamp some vintage clothing.Read the full review at: http://tipsyreader.com/books/chick-lit-roma...
My cousin Lexi was the first person to pimp this series out to me. She swore that I was going to love it and because we have similar tastes in books, I picked it up and of course, loved it.That was a long time ago. This time around, I think I loved it more. The story starts off with Lizzie Nichols ju...
