This book was a mixed bag for me.Here's what worked well:- In Private Eye, Mark was quite the douchebag. Rather than trying to explain away his crap attitude in Private Eye to make him more likable in his own book, Mark admits his shortcomings and decides to make a change. The change does not come...
"What makes you think I'm gay?" [...]"Uh...nothing actually. [...] Unless you count all the hope in my soul of souls?"These two were so completely adorbs, I couldn’t stop smiling. Could. Not.Mark was kind of a douche in Private Eye and he was still kind of a douche in this book. Surprisingly, I like...
4-4.5 starsI reallly liked it, drama but not too much, a wonderful love story and nice secondary characters. I just think that Christian got too much space in this story. Nevertheless, now I'm off to reading his story:)
I enjoyed the first story in this series and re-read it right before reading this one so that I would remember the characters and exactly what happened. Unfortunately this one did not work for me. It sorta dragged for me and I found myself skipping a lot to just get through it.
It was really hard for me to start reading this book because I didn't care much for Mark in Private Eye, but turns out he's not bad at all and in the end I enjoyed this book more. I liked the Christopher (and Kevin) interludes too even though Christopher's a douche.

Hmm, wasn't sure how I felt about Mark in Private Eye. You wanted to feel for him, but he was a little pathetic too. Surprisingly, I think this book might have even better reviews, so I may cave and give it a chance. (Although I was kind of hoping Mark would get with that sexy doctor!)$6.99 on Sm...
Even though the big problem felt like junior high drama to me, the changes the characters undergo, and the changes they chose to make by the ending, made me end up liking this story. Mark really matures, and takes responsibility for his actions in the first book of this series, and I was glad that t...
