From the tiny island of Tasmania, Rachael Treasure writes about the big issues of the world. Her novels and short stories are drawn from her grass roots country living and provide inspiration to readers of all ages. Once you read a Rachael Treasure novel, you won't be able to stop. She is currently listed in Australian Booksellers Magazine as Australia's number one female fiction author. Rachael will transport you into the rural world that she knows and loves so you will emerge from her stories, altered, amused and ready to head out into the scrub of Australia. Rachael trains working dogs and is using her grazing animals in regenerative agricultural trials to restore her soils, regenerate native grasses and sequester carbon. She also has two children, a lop-sided budgie and a toy poodle called Megatron.
