With the publication of New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Gibson's first book, readers discovered one of contemporary romance's freshest voices. Four of her novels were named among the Top Ten Favorite Books of the Year by Romance Writers of America. Rachel's storytelling career began at the age of sixteen when she ran her Chevy Vega into the side of a hill, retrieved the bumper and broken glass from the ground, and drove to her high school parking lot. With the help of her friend, she strategically scattered the broken pieces and told her parents she'd been the victim of a hit and run. They believed her, and she's been telling stories ever since. When not writing, you can usually find Rachel hunting for the perfect shoes, or on the tennis court where she is a solid 2.5. Someday she hopes to hit the ball half as many times as she swings and misses.

3 starsi was disappointed with this one. Daisy annoyed me so much when she waited 15 years and over 50% of the book to finally tell Jack that Nathan was his son and not her deceased husband's. ughfull review to follow

In a world of unnecessary reality shows, needless celebrity and heartbreaking current events, it's tales like Running in Heels that make you sit back and take notice. A flighty br...

3.75 starsThis was really cute, but I didn't buy Sean's sudden realization that he was in love, after denying it so vehemently. Lexie also didn't make him grovel enough.full review to follow
