Let me just start by saying that while I'm certainly a Leftie, I'm actually no great fan of Rachel Maddow. The details aren't relevant here, but I don't find her show compelling or particularly informative. That said, I did appreciate this book. There is wide room for non-partisan agreement on the m...

Reread 2/26. Gorgeous art, solid writing. I'm not sold on the Circus of Crime (supervillains, eh), but Kate Kane's backstory is terrific. The coloring is also notable: black, white, and red for the Batwoman scenes, autumnal Mucha shades for Kate's civilian life, a little extra fading for childhood...

Yeah, I'll try and write a proper review at some point but I just freaking love Rachel Maddow. She's one of my heroes and one of the reasons I'm as passionate about politics as I am, so blame her for me!

Damn these new Batwoman graphic novels are so beautiful. Find me a Batman novel as well drawn out and colored as these... I want one like it.. Will be finding more comics/novels drawn by the same artist, this work is downright amazing.

I ended up listening to the audio version of this book -- it's read by Maddow herself! What a treat. Wish I could think of something more original to say about her writing than "brilliant" and "thought-provoking."

My dream Democratic presidential ticket for 2016 would include Rachel Maddow. I’m thinking if Joe Biden doesn’t want to do it (and I don’t think he does) then Al Franken, John Stewart or Stephen Colbert should be the other half. That would be an entertaining and smart duo to run the country. Mayb...

I almost feel like I should reread this book before writing a review. I read about 2/3 of it and then took a long break before finishing the rest and it's been several weeks since I finished the book. So keep all that in mind when reading this review.I wanted to like this book more than I did. I thi...

It seems that since my birth in the 1950s, America has been in perpetual wars. Since 2001, we have been in perpetual war. Rachel Maddow's intriguing look at the evolution of military action in America does a lot of explaining why this is so. We as a nation have done three things in the last 40 years...

Updated - 5/26/13 - new link at bottomSuppose they gave a war and no one protested? That sounds like heaven on earth for some politicos, some military leaders and a whole lot of contractors who have been growing Jabba-the-Hutt chunky on public dollars.Rachel Maddow, the most charming, and surely one ...
