Ralph Higgins grew up in the small town of Los Gatos and graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in psychology and post graduate work in education. He is married and has two daughters and two grandsons. His wife Gayle has a son, a daughter and four grandchildren. Ralph has lived an interesting life as an educator, businessman, musician, and writer. Less interested in a career, he chose to explore a variety of creative endeavors. Life, in his eyes, was a buffet table of interesting ideas, projects and challenges and he wanted to sample as much as possible before reaching the cashier.
