A slightly different world with the X-Men as different people and Apocalypse in charge. Some of the x-men are in the role of villans and some in the role of hero. Xavier is dead and Magneto is in charge. Interesting alternative universe story.
A good volume in the Essentials series, featuring some excellent stories from MTIO. The Project Pegasus saga is reprinted here, as is the Serpent Crown and Maelstrom storylines. Great artwork by Ron Wilson, Gene Day, John Byrne. and George Perez abounds.

Miller did a great job with Batman in the past, it was probably an easy transition into Marvel's version of "Batman". It wasn't a bad novel by any means but I think I somehow expected more from what critics called "The Defining Daredevil Story".
