Ooookay, and on that note, I'm making the executive decision NOT to hunt the last two down. Why? Where to start? Jim - head increasingly up arse over the kid. The story arc itself. Really? The theology. But that's the series... The book itself. The h made me want to bitch-slap her more t...

Opening Line: "Grave. And not as in serious. As in headstone and freshly disturbed earth, as in body down under, as in ashes to ashes, dust to dust.” I’m one of those obsessive JR Ward fans that knows the release date of her latest book about a year in advance and plans accordingly, rearranging my w...

It's amazing to me that Ward was able to resurrect a past villain and give him a HEA. This series surprises me more and more with every book.
She Thought What?!?! Rants, Raves, and In-Betweens
★★★★★Rapture (The Fallen Angels, #4) by J.R. Ward Well we are on book 4 now, and it is getting progressively better, still not BDB, but I am waiting to see what happens in #5. Just sad that the story is finally developing, and there is only supposed to be 3 more books.

3.5 StarsI liked it, but I didn't love it. It's always a sad day when I say that about a JR Ward book. I know this lady has the juice to knock my socks off, but this fourth installment in her Fallen Angel series left me feeling lukewarm. It was even more disappointing on the heels of that big sho...

Talk about an emotionally packed read. Wow! Each time I read one of The Fallen Angels books I think that J.R. Ward couldn’t possibly make me love these guys more, but I should have known better.Envy was an emotional nightmare and throughout Rapture our beloved angels are still dealing with the fallo...

3.5 starsWell things just got interesting....oh boy.I'm a little scared after reading this what Ward has in store now. Hmm...I'm not sure I like the move Jim pulled at the end.:( Gave Devina waaaay too much leverage IMO. *sigh* *slightly spoilerish ahead* Wasn't planning on leaving a review for this...
