I hated Ben and was a bit surprised at how that plot line developed. I was annoyed with Holly- she was a little too man-crazy. She's starting school, which it mentions means a lot to her, only to have trouble with concentration because she thinking about Alessandro. She was also TSTL at times- Sh...

I can't really pinpoint exactly what turns me off from this book. It was good, lots of action, some romance, bad good/good guys ... it just didn't seem to flow right. Big events weren't given the acknowledgement they deserved. I don't know if I'll be continuing the series although I would've like...

This book was pretty good. I was wondering for a while who Holly would fall in love with but loved the way it ended. Would recommend this book.

I love finding new authors and this one is a treat. The writing is fast paced and the characters spoke to me within the first few pages with smart dialogue and descriptions that weren't overwhelming. This one will have you staying up late to finish it.

I enjoyed this book. It's pretty typical urban fantasy fare, and some of the plot elements reminded me strongly of Kim Harrison's Hollows series. Ashwood doesn't really do anything new or interesting with the genre (aside from suggest the reason that supernatural beings "came out" was because it w...
