Rebecca Holmes lives with her husband Douglas in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Grandad's Magic Tree grew out of a tradition shared with their grandchildren. They wanted to make sure their "favorite" people would want to come and visit regularly.As the tradition developed it became obvious that the story of Bertiwaddle's adventures needed to be shared with others. Rebecca is an avid reader who loves it when a young child's imagination comes alive when introduced to the wonderful, mystical world of a Bertiwaddle of Elderwinkle. This book is a gift of love to her grandchildren, Olivia Jane and Jonah. It has also become a favorite for the many children who are lucky enough to have someone who loves them enough to share a good story and the love of reading with them.
